Fun with Flupe (15 months-4 years)follows the adventures of young Paul Ward as he jumps into his magic book of nursery rhymes to help jolly Granny Fix and bouncy, lovable Flupe repair things that have gone wrong in the world of rhymes—all while learning spoken English. Through repeated hearing of these adventures, positive reinforcement and playful interaction students learn a basic vocabulary of 650 words, correct pronunciation, and the fundamentals of English sentence structure. The course includes 25 songs and a lot of rhyme which develop the children’s phonemic awareness and pre-reading skills.
More Fun with Flupe In this continuing course, students just can’t wait to find out how they solve problems of the fairies, magicians and dragons they meet along their way. This course teaches 650 words and 25 songs. More Fun with Flupe is the follow-up course to Fun with Flupe with 12 new episodes of the adventures of Paul, Granny Fix and Flupe. Kids just can’t wait to find out how the characters solve problems and help the fairies, magicians and dragons they meet along their way. Through repeated hearing, positive reinforcement and playful interaction students effortlessly learn 650 words and 25 songs. The course can be taken by children who complete Fun with Flupe.
Jump with Joey, for beginner students and is also appropriate for students who have completed the Fun with Flupe series. This delightful course includes a 12-episode animated series that follows the adventures of Paul and his friend Millie who help Kangi the kangaroo and her mischievous son Joey solve problems in Storyville. Through repeated hearing, positive reinforcement and playful interaction in English, the children learn 25 songs, a wide vocabulary, as well as important values such as friendship and protecting the environment. A workbook for reading and writing practice is an optional addition to the course for students with basic reading skills. Jump with Joey is the very first Helen Doron English course to use augmented reality technology. Paul Ward`s Adventure This new course is for beginning students, as well as for continuing students who are at the pre-A1 Common European Framework of Reference examination level. Eight original songs, stories and fun activities keep students motivated and involved in Paul Ward’s worldwide adventures. In every exciting lesson, students join Paul as he travels the world, meets new friends and learns about different cultures and countries. The course covers a large vocabulary of 2500 words and includes listening and reading comprehension, writing, spelling and assessments to mark student progress. Students learn to speak English naturally as a mother tongue language—through stories, songs, interaction and games to strengthen phonics and English reading and writing skills.
The Teen English courses are designed so that the young people simply want to stick to it. Each course features exclusive pop songs and a story that runs like a thread through each lesson. The songs and stories are entertaining and cover topics that concern young people today. Pop music for teen English Former Helen Doron English students In small learning groups of a maximum of eight pupils, the young people receive individual guidance from the dedicated teachers. They learn to express themselves in English and prepare for their final exams. Teen English * for students aged 11 to 19 is a completely new and original program, divided into four levels, which can be completed consecutively.
Teen Talent (A2) Rock stars, making money, saving the planet, holiday travel—are just some of the thought-provoking topics covered in the songs, stories and activities created exclusively for this course. This course is for students with a knowledge of spoken, written and reading English who have completed the Common European Framework of Reference for A1 level vocabulary and grammar. The first Teen English programme, Teen Talent, is based upon a story that runs throughout the course. The story features a group of teens and their dreams to become famous. Rock stars, making money, saving the planet, holiday travel are just some of the topics covered in the songs, stories and activities that make up Teen Talent. Each unit consists of two episodes that students hear on the CDs and then read in class. The stories are filled with suspense, humour and interesting facts while bringing out important values which stimulate higher level discussions. Students learn to open their minds, think and develop, all in English. They learn techniques in reading comprehension that correspond to the Common European Framework of Reference for A2 level for vocabulary and grammar.
Teen Choices (B1) Teen Choices B1 level course introduces students to language used by teens around the world including idioms, jokes and tongue twisters. This course is for students who have completed Teen Talent as well as for new students between ages 12-16 who pass the corresponding level in the Helen Doron Teen English Placement Test. Teen Choices, the second level in the Helen Doron Teen English programme, keeps teens engaged with stories and activities covering topics that resonate with adolescents. The name, Teen Choices, is from a mystery story that runs throughout this learning set. The course has rich and interesting vocabulary taught in topic-based units with reading comprehension texts, listening comprehension recordings, beautiful songs, and fun exercises which all teach English through the unique Helen Doron methodology.
Teen Choices is a B1 level course and covers the majority of the vocabulary and grammar required to meet this level of the Common European Framework of Reference. The remaining vocabulary is covered in Teen Express (B1+) Students learn vocabulary, grammar, techniques in reading comprehension as well as to open their minds and think in English.
Teen Success (B2) This highest level B2 level course teaches students to open their minds, think and learn to express themselves English through original stories, great music and fun activities. This course is for Helen Doron students who have completed Teen Express as well as for new students ages 14-19 who pass the corresponding level in the Helen Doron Teen English Placement Test. Teen Success, the fourth level in the Helen Doron Teen English programme keeps teens engaged with stories and activities covering topics that resonate with adolescents. Four separate, but intertwined stories teach students important life lessons such as defining and understanding the value of personal success and motivation. As with all Helen Doron English courses, songs play an essential role in the learning process. Teen Success includes four original stories and eight original pop songs. Teen Success is a B2 level course and helps teens learn vocabulary, grammar and techniques in reading comprehension required to meet the B2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference. Students learn to open their minds, think and develop, all in English.
