A red puppet called “Socke” (Sock) meets Sandra, a person. Sandra speaks to Sock in German – a language in which the little puppet is not very fluent. Whatever could go wrong with that? A lot, hopefully – and that’s what “Deutsch mit Socke” is all about. The new TV series has been produced by Puppet Empire, a group of puppeteers and film-makers from Cologne, for WDR/KiKa.

Sock parrots everything Sandra says and doesn’t worry too much about German grammar. Communication is effective nevertheless. It’s a great introduction to a world of German language.

Course planned in March either twice or once weekly in the morning,

Six days of adventure and English FUN!
Finally, it is time again and we drive to the Highland Ranch in Spiegelau!
Here is the program:
Adventure rider week only for stable riders
5 days of pure riding pleasure. Here you can experience 5 days of riding off-road with absolutely reliable, strong nerves and sure-footed horses. Experience unforgettable riding days at the Bavarian Forest National Park without restricting riding trails in clean, pure nature.
1 day
Arrival to the Highlander Ranch around noon and accommodation in holiday apartments on the ranch or, if desired, in one of the huts. In the early afternoon around 1 p.m., we start our first approx. 2-hour ride. So you get to know your horse and we can test your saddle strength.
The first English Adventure lesson then takes place (approx. 3 hours)
2 day
After breakfast, we clean and saddle our horses together. It starts at around 11 a.m. and we start a half-day ride. He leads us along soft forest and meadow paths along clean streams through the beautiful landscape around the Highlander Ranch. Then "English Adventure" takes place again and the homework is corrected together.
3rd and 4th day
On the 3rd and 4th day, daily trails are on the program. We start the day with the motto "Every day a new goal in mind". After breakfast, we fetch the horses from the pasture, clean and saddle them and start our first day's ride at around 10.30 a.m. On horseback, we leave everyday life behind and enjoy the Bavarian Forest and its distinctive nature. After approx. 2-3 hours over gentle hills, natural forests and wide meadows we reach our lunch stop, where a hearty snack is already waiting for us. With fresh strength, we ride on and after about 2 hours we reach the Highlander Ranch, where the next "English Adventure" lesson is already waiting.
5. Day
After breakfast, the horses are saddled and we set out again. After about 2-3 hours of riding time, we arrive at the neighboring Fox Ranch. After a break, we head back over the Hessenstein towards the Highlander Ranch, where we arrive after about 1.5 hours of riding. Then "English Adventure" is waiting for all students.

Unfortunately, you have to take the outward and return journey yourself, as it is beyond the budget to rent a bus.
